Raspberry Seed Oil

Raspberry seed oil is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, emollient, and occlusive ingredient that is full of vitamins and essential fatty acids.

Raspberry seed oil contains vitamins A and E. Vitamin A (aka retinol) boosts collagen production, making skin appear firmer, plumper, and more supple. It also speeds up cell renewal, meaning your skin sheds dead skin cells more quickly, resulting in smoother skin. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects your skin from the free radical damage and oxidative stress that can age it.

Raspberry seed oil helps support the skin barrier because it is packed with linolenic and linoleic acids, two omega fatty acids. Alongside barrier support, these fatty acids also soothe irritated skin.

Raspberry seed oil can also reduce breakouts (thanks to the linoleic acid) and increase skin hydration through trapping moisture in the skin as an occlusive, and softening the skin as an emollient.
