Hyaluronic Acid
- Naturally produced by the body, it draws water into the skin to leave your face looking and feeling hydrated. We use hyaluronic acid that has been extracted from the seed of Indian senna. Grown natively in Egypt, this plant was formerly used in herbal teas for its ability to cleanse the digestive system and clarify the skin. In skincare, hyaluronic acid is used for its moisturizing potential. It can absorb up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, resulting in firm and supple-looking skin. It also contains polysaccharides which are great at attracting and retaining water.

Probiotics
- Topical probiotics work via “bacterial interference”. They interfere with the ability of bad bacteria to provoke an immune reaction by preventing skin cells from seeing them in the first place. Probiotics strengthen the skin’s natural protective mechanisms to maintain a healthy balance of good bacteria on the surface of the skin. Healthy signals produced by these probiotics help to stop your skin cells from sending an “attack” message to your immune system. This helps to keep acne and rosacea flare-ups at bay.
