Hello!
My name is Leah, and I am so excited to be part of the Graydon Skincare Customer Experience team! My role includes assisting customers with product inquiries and questions via email, engaging with customers on the Graydon website live chat and responding to product reviews.
I always find it nice to hear more about the individuals behind the scenes, so I thought I would tell you a bit about myself. I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada but just recently moved to Toronto for school and work. My hobbies include staying active, spending time with family/friends, exploring new coffee shops/markets (recommendations welcome) and skincare, of course!
My educational background is in science; I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick. During my degree, I realized I could combine my passion for skincare and science. I began researching and writing all school assignments I could relate to skincare, whether it was on sunscreen filters or dandruff prevention ingredients. I also completed a research study on nanoparticles at oil/water interfaces.
After graduating from university, I worked as an Environmental Lab Technician for two years. This gave me valuable experience in my field; however, I still had the goal of pursuing a career in the skincare industry. In my spare time, I continued to learn about product ingredients, watched YouTube videos on skincare routines and even started giving product recommendations to friends and family.
This leads me to today, when I moved to Toronto to pursue my goals. I’m currently attending Seneca College’s Cosmetic Science Graduate Certificate program while working here at Graydon Skincare and loving every minute of it! What drew me to Graydon Skincare, other than their great Instagram page, was their clinically proven superfood ingredients. Their openness about great botanical sources of ingredients such as retinol, Vitamin C and probiotics is what makes me excited to be a part of this great plant-powered team!
If I had to choose my favourite Graydon Skincare product, it would be Face Food Mineral Mist. Whether it’s a post-cleanse toner, an afternoon refresh or a post-makeup finishing spray, Face Food is the best!
