

Oatmeal with Hemp Hearts Recipe
When I find myself low on energy, I like to whip up some oatmeal to help get me through the day. Oatmeal is full of soluble fiber which keeps you full for longer, so you're less likely to indulge in sweets and junk food.
For this recipe I like to sweeten it up with some apples (which also adds a bit of crunch) along with some cinnamon but feel free to add whatever fruit suits your taste.
What you'll need:
- One whole apple
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of oats
- Coconut Milk
- Dried goji berries
- Handful of hemp hearts
Directions:
1. Add oats and milk into a pot on medium heat.
2. Once it starts to boil, add in the diced apples and goji berries
3. Lower heat to low for 5 mins and then add in a pinch of cinnamon, keep stirring
4. Pour mixture into a bowl and sprinkle some hemp hearts on top for added nutrition. I got these from River Valley Farms.
