Here are 3 easy steps + a super simple DIY recipe!
This is a photo was taken of Graydon after following this regimen on a weekly basis, for about a year. Her hair grew over 4 inches and she recently had to get it cut because it was getting too long!
Here are the ingredients you'll need:
- Shampoo (preferably our Matcha Mint, or another natural brand that doesn't over strip the natural oils from your scalp)
- 1/2 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
- Graydon's 'Germs Away' Essential Oil Blend
Optional: astringent essential oils such as rosemary, lemon or peppermint
Step 1: Apply a generous amount of our Matcha Mint Shampoo and using your fingertips actively massage it onto your scalp and work vigorously through to your ends. Rinse with warm water.
Step 2: Squeeze out excess water from your hair before and rinse it with a 1/2 cup of apple cidre vinegar, then sprinkle a few (about 6 drops) of our Germs Away essential oil blend onto your scalp and wrap your hair in a towel for 5 minutes. If you don't have our Germs Away Blend on hand you can use other detoxifying essential oils on your scalp, such as rosemary, lemon or peppermint.
Fyi - this process will help rid your scalp and hair shafts of product build-up that accumulates from using styling products such as gel, mousse, pomades and sprays.
Step 3: Use our Hair Smoothie and leave it on for an extended period of time (say 30 to 60 minutes) before rinsing off. Even better, you can also use it as an overnight treatment which will really help to make your hair more smooth, supple and resilient.
If you don't have a bottle of our Hair Smoothie, you can make your own DIY hair treatment with 1/4 cup of castor oil along with some stimulating essential oils like the above-mentioned rosemary, peppermint or lemon.
Just blend the castor oil with 6 to 12 drops of the essential oil(s) of you choice and massage the mixture into your scalp and down through the ends of your hair. Leave on for 30 minutes (or overnight) before washing it out.
Hope you enjoy trying this out!
